Refinancing your home?

If you are thinking about refinancing the mortgage on your home, we suggest that you contact a reputable mortgage lender to determine whether refinancing is right for you, and if so, which program would best fit with your circumstances. At your request, this office will provide you with contact information for trusted and reputable mortgage lenders.

Many lenders will tell you that you do not need an attorney to close your refinance transaction and that their title company can conveniently close your mortgage for you. However, it is important for you to recognize that a title company is not acting as your lawyer, and it is not representing your interests. A title company, for a fee, provides an agent to notarize your signature on the closing documents. That agent will not explain the documents to you or even ensure that the vital information is correct. For the same price, our firm will represent you in the refinance of your property. We will carefully review every document with you, so that you can refinance your home with confidence, knowing that you had an attorney protecting your interests.

Once you select a mortgage lender, indicate that your own attorney will be acting as the closing agent and provide them with our contact information. We will handle the rest.
